Before El Camino
Thursday, September 18th, arrival in Porto, we will acquaint ourselves with the city, hotel, activities, and a welcoming dinner.
Friday, September 19th, ride the ‘Hop-On Hop-Off’ bus through the city of Porto, art museum, and port tasting.
Saturday, September 20th, ride the ‘Hop-On Hop-Off’ bus to the seaside, continue to a night tour of the river, followed by dinner and fado music.
Sunday, September 21st, visit The Cathedral, pick up our Camino Passports, and get them stamped. We will visit the beginning of the Camino del Litoral, free time to visit, shop, etc.
Walk Itinerary
The journey will take 9 days walking, we will meet in Porto on Thursday, Sept 18th, we will spend 3 days in Porto getting to know the city and getting acclimated to the environment.
Monday the 22nd, we will start the walk from Valença, Portugal. Depending on the physical status of the team, we can have a day off to rest in mid walk. If so, we will be arriving in Santiago on Thursday, Oct 2nd. We will then have 4 days to visit Spain, go back to Porto or go back home.
